Privacy Policy
This website collects very little. There are no accounts, no sign-up forms, no comments, no newsletter, no payments and no advertising. What does happen is standard for any website: Google Analytics records anonymous usage statistics so we know which pages are read, the web server keeps ordinary access logs, and two fonts are loaded from Google's servers. Together these mean your IP address and browser details are processed by Google, Cloudflare and our host. This page sets out exactly what is collected, why, who else is involved, and how to stop it. Nothing on this page is legal advice.
What this site collects
Analytics. This site uses Google Analytics 4 (measurement ID G-9D268YD6JP) to understand
which pages are read and how people arrive. It records the pages you visit, roughly how long you
stay, an approximate location derived from your IP address (usually city or region level), your
device type, browser and operating system, and the referring site or search engine.
Server logs. The web server keeps ordinary access logs — IP address, timestamp, the page requested, the response, and your browser’s user-agent string. This is standard for every web server and is used for security and diagnosis.
Nothing else. No profiling, no fingerprinting, no session recording, no heatmaps, no advertising pixels, no remarketing tags, no third-party trackers beyond those named below.
What this site does not collect
There is no mechanism on this website through which you could give us personal information, and we do not want any:
- No user accounts, logins or passwords
- No contact, enquiry or subscription forms
- No comment sections
- No newsletter or mailing list
- No payments, purchases or donations — the novel is free to read
- No advertising, sponsorship or affiliate links
The search on this site runs entirely in your browser. Your search terms are never sent to us and never leave your device.

There are no advertising, remarketing, personalisation or profiling cookies. You can block or delete all of them in your browser settings, and the site will work exactly as before.
Third parties involved
Using this site means data is processed by these companies under their own privacy policies:
- Google — Analytics, and the two typefaces the site loads from Google Fonts. Loading a font from Google’s servers transmits your IP address to Google even though no cookie is set by the font request itself.
- Cloudflare — sits in front of the site, serving pages and filtering malicious traffic. It processes IP addresses and request data.
- Bluehost — hosts the files and keeps server access logs.
We have no control over what these companies do with data collected under their own policies, and you should read those policies if that matters to you.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights over personal data relating to you — including the right to know what is held, to have it corrected or erased, and to object to its processing. In India these arise under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023; visitors from the European Economic Economic Area and the United Kingdom have equivalent rights under the GDPR.
In practice, this site holds no record that identifies you. We have no name, no email address and no account attached to anything. Requests about analytics data or server logs are best directed to Google, Cloudflare or the host, who hold that data. If you write to info@jagdishwagh.in we will help where we can.
How to stop analytics entirely
- Install Google’s official Analytics opt-out browser add-on
- Block cookies for this site in your browser settings
- Use a browser or extension that blocks trackers by default
- Use your browser’s private or incognito mode
None of these will degrade your experience here. Every page works without JavaScript.
Children
This website is a novel and a reference companion. It is not directed at children, and it collects no information from anybody knowingly, children included.
Changes
If what this site collects changes, this page changes with it, and the date at the top is updated. The current version is the one published here.

Google Analytics retains visitor-level data for the period configured on the property, and aggregate reporting data for longer. Server access logs are kept by the hosting provider under its own retention schedule.
